Mr Baby turned 8 months old today! My, my how time flies. And since he was a month early being born, it means that he has been out in the world just as long as he was in my tummy :)
He is still not quite crawling yet - he can do one or two steps (or crawls??) but can't seem to keep going. This is a good thing I think - I have not bought the cupboard door latches or any of that other baby-proofing stuff we are going to need. He is already displaying a definite fascination for remote controls, iphones, blue-ray players... anything expensive and electrical really! sigh! He also is already trying to get into every kitchen cupboard when I let him loose in his walker. Thank goodness the walker blocks him from being able to actually open anything, but once he's independently mobile I'm in trouble!
We loved spending time with you on the 8 month anniversary...goodness, has it really been 8 months? Thanks so much for chatting with us yesterday, it was really exciting to see the crawling attempts on film! Good luck keeping him out of things. The stage I loved (well, not really) was when A. would pull all his books off the shelf, and then, once cleaned up, do it again! Enjoy every minute of it though, 8 months is such a delightful age.
